Hi, I’m Jen! I’m originally from Michigan and moved to Arizona in 2020. I live in Queen Creek with my husband, our two kids and our French Bulldog, Tula.
As my kids have gotten older, I started thinking more about what I wanted to do for myself. I knew I wanted to build something of my own, but I also wanted it to be something I truly enjoyed. I’ve always loved animals, and that’s what led me to start Desert Paws AZ.
For me, caring for your pets is about more than just following their routine. I want you to know I’ll show up, be present and give them the attention they deserve. Some pets want to play or go for a walk, while others are perfectly happy just having someone there to keep them company. Whatever your pet enjoys most, I’m happy to spend that time with them and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
I also pay attention to the little things — did they eat, did they go potty, are they acting like themselves? I want to know what’s normal for your pets so I can recognize when something isn’t. If anything seems a little off, I’ll let you know.
And of course, I’ll send pictures after every visit and let you know how your pets are doing.
Desert Paws AZ is a small business run completely by me. I’m the one you’ll meet and talk to, and I’ll be the one caring for your pets during each visit.
I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving your pets with me, knowing I’ll give them plenty of love and attention and treat them like they’re my own.
